WECC has nearly 400 children on roster!! We ask our volunteers to commit to serving weekly to give our kids the security of consistency. Here are our current needs. If you want to talk through this decision or want to sign up, e-mail Judy@westendcc.org

First service (9am):

Preschool- 2 Teachers, 5 Helpers, 1 Team Leader

Elementary - 3 Teachers, 3 Helpers, 1 Team Leader

2nd service (10:30 am):

Preschool- 4 Teachers, 4 Helpers, 1 Team Leader

Elementary - 7 D-group leaders (5 Women and 2 Men)

Transformation Station:

We need Cast Members and Script Writers

During 2nd service, the week's Bible story is presented in the form of a skit by "actors". Puppets, video, and overall silliness are all a typical part of Transformation Station. If you are interested in acting or helping to write scripts for this, please contact Laura Armistead at lauraarmistead@comcast.net.

Children's Ministry Vocab:

Teacher- you'll get the curriculum at the beginning of each quarter to teach a lesson in the room. Crafts supplies will all be prepared for you!

Helper- you're in the classroom with the kids, but do not have to teach. Just play and help the kids stay focused!

Team Leader- you'll be our staff's liaison to a set group of teachers and helpers. You'll encourage them throughout the week and be present on Sunday mornings to pray, problem solve, and get everyone ready to go.

D-group Leaders- you'll have a group of 5-8 elementary aged kids of your same gender. Each week, you'll talk through the week's lesson, play games, learn in Transformation Station, and spend time in prayer. D-groups are probably our favorite thing about Children's Ministry!!
