MONDAY EVENING STUDIES (begin at 6:30pm):
Daniel ($15)
Join Beth Moore in a faith-building study of prophecy, and learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy shows how individuals can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society.
WEDNESDAY MORNING STUDIES (9:30 am - Noon @ WECC)
Following Jesus: Biblical Reflections on Discipleship ($14)
A study of 12 meditations exploring what it truly means to follow Jesus today. Through the New Testament, take a close look at Jesus and what he accomplished in his sacrificial death. This study will also delve into topics like the resurrection, temptation, hell, heaven and new life. Join us in considering the significance of these themes in your life as a present-day Christ follower.
1 & 2 Kings ($10)
The history of Israel is filled with stories of corrupt kings, a divided kingdom, and exile. However, God's sovereignty shines through as He uses broken people to achieve His purposes. The books of 1 and 2 Kings are at the initial wrap-up and climax of the great overarching history of a world created by God and of a particular people in it who were handpicked by Him. This study follows the events of Israel's eventual downfall while teaching valuable lessons about God's will and character.
1 Peter ($7)
The message of Peter's first letter turned the world upside-down for his readers. He saw the people of the young church of the first century as strangers, aliens who were only temporary residents, travelers heading for their native land. Peter speaks to our own pilgrimage when he tells of suffering now and glory to come. Out of his firsthand knowledge as an apostle of Christ, Peter shows us what the story of Jesus' life means for us as we take up our cross and follow him.
Gospel Centered Life ($13)
Are you eager to understand how the gospel shapes every aspect of life? What does it look like to live out the story of the gospel where you work and play? This study will encourage you in deepening your faith and forming your life around the gospel of Christ.
Surprised by Hope ($15)
Does heaven feel like a foreign country or fairy tale land? When you read passages in the Bible about our future hope and home with God do you feel like it is completely unconnected with how you live today? One of Christianity's most unique assertions is bodily resurrection. Join this study for an in-depth look at the literal resurrection of Jesus as the cornerstone for our hope and future home in heaven.
