WEDDINGS/RECEPTIONS
West End Community Church is pleased for our members and Christian friends to use our facilities for weddings and receptions. We see marriage as a divine institution, given by God and therefore make every effort to help couples in their preparation for marriage and take great care in how a service is handled.
RESERVATION OF FACILITIES
Reservations for wedding, rehearsal and reception times should be made with the church office as far in advance as possible -- no less than 90 days in advance. All requests for weddings are subject to facilities being available when regular and special church activities are not occupying the buildings.
FEES
Basic fees are as follows and do not include honorariums for musicians/pastors:
Wedding:
WECC MEMBERS (bride or groom or one of the parents): $600
NON-MEMBERS: $800
(Receptions held in the building will be an additional $100.00)
Reception Only:
WECC MEMBERS (bride or groom or one of the parents): $400
NON-MEMBERS: $600

ALL OTHER EVENTS
The property and facilities of West End Community Church are designed and intended to bring glory to God by supporting the programs of the church; by providing for the education, recreation and fellowship of the church body, and for outreach to the immediate neighborhood and the broader community. Every activity scheduled in the church is to be Christ-centered. Consistent with this, we urge that all facilities be treated as the Lord’s house and that all activities are conducted in a manner that honors and glorifies God.
SCHEDULING/RESERVATION PROCESS
All activities and/or events must be scheduled through the church office at least one (1) week in advance to allow for necessary staff planning and logistics around the event. For activities with 50-100 participants, the event must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance. For more than 100 participants, the church requires four (4) weeks advance notice.
FEES
Basic fees are as follows:
- $25 for use of a classroom
- $25/hour for use of the gymnasium
- $50 for use of the kitchen
- $50/hour for use of a sound technician
