Mission trip to Dublin
February 24 - March 4

What will attendees be doing?
The Ireland trip is a meaningful week of hands-on service and relational engagement. A variety of opportunities await: from street outreach, to one-on-one conversations with folks in recovery, to worshipping and serving with our sister church in Dublin, it’s a fast-paced, life-changing seven days.
Why is this trip important?
Dublin, like most major cities in Europe, can be a spiritually dark place. Drug and alcohol addiction is rampant, families have been torn apart, and for many, Hope seems intangible. West End’s mission partners in Dublin are doing vital work to shine the Light of Christ into some of the city's darkest corners. As a result, a sense of revival is palpable these days, and lives are being radically transformed. By working alongside our brothers and sisters there, we’re not only offering physical support with crucial ministries, we’re sowing a personal investment into this shared mission.
Who are these partners/ministries?
Tiglin is a Teen Challenge residential recovery center in Wicklow, Ireland. With both men’s and women’s facilities and a range of support resources, Tiglin’s Christian-based program boasts one of Ireland’s highest post-treatment success rates.
The Light House is a drop-in outreach in Dublin city center. Hot meals are prepared and served several days per week, as the ministry seeks to make genuine connections by building relationships and meeting basic needs in Dublin’s homeless, hungry and addicted population.
Liberty Church is committed to being an effective and influential expression of the love of God to the city of Dublin, bringing social change through sustained engagement with local communities. The church has locations in Bray, Clondalkin and Dublin.
