WELCOME TO WEST END

We know that attending a new church — or any new environment, for that matter — can be a little unsettling…  so let me put your mind at ease. When you visit West End our desire is that you’ll be greeted by a friendly face but never made to feel uncomfortable. We would love for you to join us for a Sunday worship service and see for yourself what makes West End such a unique church. You’ll find more information below on what to expect to help make your first visit a great one. And when you do visit, please introduce yourself after the service — we look forward to meeting you.

- Carter Crenshaw

SERVICE TIMES & ATMOSPHERE
Join us for one of two worship services on Sunday mornings 9:00am & 10:30am. These services are designed primarily with Christians in mind but those who are searching for answers or investigating Christianity will feel respected and included as well.  Musical arrangements vary widely at West End and blend the best of modern choruses and ancient hymns. Dress is mostly relaxed – some wear jeans and sneakers while others wear skirts and heels. Choose something you’re comfortable in and chances are you’ll fit right in.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
As our guest, you’ll find signs directing you to reserved parking as you drive up our hill. Look for a greeter when you walk in – they’ll be happy to help you find your way around. Stop by the coffee bar and get a fresh cup of Starbucks coffee. Enjoy the community of friends but also make time to prepare your heart for worshiping God.

WHERE DO I TAKE MY CHILDREN?
Parents will want to make their first stop downstairs at our Children’s Ministry desk. You’ll meet a host who can help you get signed in, will explain our secure check-in/out system and help you find your child’s classroom.

WHAT ABOUT MY MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS?
Middle and high school students meet at 9:30am in their own space – the Hanger. This provides a great place for them to learn from God’s Word and build community while having fun with their peers. Middle and high school students also join the adults for worship at 8:15am or 10:45am.

HOW CAN I CONNECT with OTHERS AT WEST END?
Making a connection with other people is critical and that’s why we have a Small Groups Ministry at West End. Two types of groups are available to suit your preference and schedule – Sunday morning groups that meet at 9:30am and Community Groups that meet in homes across the city during the week. These groups provide a great way to get to know a people and grow at the same time.
