ALL LOCATIONS ARE AT WECC
Living in a Pluralistic Society by Tim Keller ($10) -
As Carter preaches through Judges this fall, you can study the book as well. In this guided study of Judges, Daniel and Joseph, Tim Keller walks us through what it looked like for Christians of the time to live in a religiously pluralistic society. Christians today live among a great variety of gods - not only those of other formal religions, but also the gods of wealth, celebrity, pleasure, ideology, and achievement. Join us as we study how to follow God rather than the idols of our society and how to renew ourselves when we fall. Offered on Wednesday morning and Monday evening.
A Praying Life: Connecting with God in a Distracting World by Paul Miller ($12) -
In this book, Paul Miller shares his insights and conclusions about how to connect the broken pieces or your life and allow prayer, even poorly delivered, to fill the gaps with meaning and substance. Miller's down to earth approach and practical nature will help you see that your relationship with God can grow and your communication with Him can get better. Offered on Wednesday morning
Strong Women, Soft Hearts by Paula Rinehart ($12) -
Has the day to day business of living robbed you of your passion and vitality? Do you find yourself wanting more - but then feeling guilty because life isn't supposed to be just about what you want? If so, this book will offer you hope and help. Rinehart's convincing message is that God is calling you to follow Him on the unpredictable, but exhilarating journey of life. This book will help you listen and say yes to that call to become the strong, wise, loving, and fulfilled woman you were always meant to be. Offered on Monday evening
Gospel Transformation ($25 for materials, covers both fall and spring sessions) -
Gospel Transformation is a 36-lesson (fall and spring) inductive study focusing on what matters most - our need for the transforming power of the Gospel. It goes straight to the heart, exploring such issues as: repentance, forgiveness, the flesh, compassion, believing our justification, and much more. It is designed to promote ongoing renewal in your life, relationships, and ministry and encourage you to greater faith, repentance, and love. This is a very in-depth study - a commitment to both weekly homework and group attendance is needed. Offered on Wednesday morning
The Journey ($42 for materials, covers both fall and spring sessions) -
The Journey is a life on life discipleship curriculum developed by Randy Pope of Perimeter Church in Atlanta. It is intended to develop women into mature followers of Christ by focusing on 5 unifying elements: Truth, Equipping, Accountability, Mission, and Supplication. Like Gospel Transformation, this study involves a serious commitment to weekly homework, group attendance, and accountability. A commitment form is signed at the beginning of the study, and a one year commitment to the group is required. Space is limited. Offered on Wednesday morning
Inductive Study of Philippians ($5) -
Join us as we use the inductive method to look closely at Paul's letter to the Philippians. Offered on Wednesday morning
