For many years, West End Community Church used W.A. Bass Middle School as our worship space on Sunday mornings. We desire to continue our involvement in the Bass families` lives throughout the school year. We are faithfully looking for new ways to reach out to this school community, with whom our church enjoys a very warm relationship.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Teach parents basic computer skills
• Tutor students in the after-school tutoring program
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities for WECC individuals and groups at Bass;
• Sponsor an 8th grade child on his or her Washington DC class trip;
• Landscape the school property;
• Provide gifts for teachers/administrators;
• Start a reading group with interested students
