Daystar Ministries provides a safe place for children, young adults, and their families to share their struggles for the advancement of the Gospel of Christ. Trained counselors are committed to the restoration of relationships, resulting in deeper worship of God and stronger love for people. This ministry has brought hope to many within our own West End family. In Daystar`s commitment to ministry, counseling fees are based on a sliding scale, with many clients receiving a significant subsidy for counseling.

Volunteer opportunities:

• Set up/take down for monthly Soup Nights (last Tuesday of every month: September, October, November, January, February, March, April)

• Set up for our annual events (Evening in December, Hymnsing in the spring).  They need volunteers to decorate, prepare food and help host the events.

• Transport a child to/from their counseling appointments

• Drive a boat at their summer camp.

• Help in the office throughout the year with mailings and other office projects.
