Sunday Morning

Each week we gather together at 9:30 in the Hanger to study God's Word. We gather first as one group for fellowship, snacks, worship, and teaching, then break up into two classes. For fall 2009 we'll be studying Tim Keller's Reason For God.

D-Groups
D-group is a place where students build a mentoring relationship with their leader, as well as deepen relationships with one anther beyond surface level. Its designed to be a safe haven where students can share both their joys and struggles in life. Students are there to support, encourage, and pray for one another as they study the Word of God and apply it to their lives.

D-Groups meet every Wednesday at the Hanger from 6:30-8:00 p.m except for the last Wednesday of each month.

Outreach

In July of 2008, several students from YWECC attended Barefoot Republic Camp. This was our first summer at Barefoot and we are very excited about attending and partnering with them in bigger ways in 2009.

In July of 2008, YWECC hosted one of four city-wide youth events called Fusion. We are excited to be partnering with other churches and ministries of the Nashville area with Fusion events. YWECC students also attended and helped plan the Christmas Youth Fusion Service in December of 2008.

In December of 2008, 25 students from Middle College High School attended the 1st lunch club at the Hanger. This lunch club is just the beginning of many more to come. These are a new outreach initiative for sharing the Gospel.  

YWECC is also involved in several other outreach projects in Nashville. We have students that volunteer weekly and serve in many different ways. For more information about YWECC's service projects or places to serve, please contact the youth office.
