Who: Children of West End Community Church AND the Preston Taylor Community K-8th grade

What is it?: Vacation Bible School

Where: Playground behind Preston Taylor Management Office – 3900 Clifton Ave.

Directions: from Charlotte Ave, turn onto 40th Ave, Right on Clifton, building is on your left

Volunteer Parking: Park at the Quick Mark, on 39th Ave, at St. Andrews church, or beside the Preston Taylor Mngt building

Parents dropping off kids: drop off at the corner of 39th and Clifton. Volunteers will be waiting to direct your kids!

When: June 13-17; 6:00-8:00pm

Why: To build community among participating churches. To share the Gospel with children and parents. To give hope. To worship God through service.

VOLUNTEER ROLES

Crew Leader (need 30):
You’ll have 5-10 kids to guide through the whole night. You get to know the kids best out of any role! This commitment is Mon-Thur.

Storyteller (12/night):
Storytellers teach the Bible story each night through an interactive skit. The script will be already written for you, so just have fun!

Crafts (9/night):
You’ll get to help the kids’ imaginations come alive. Everything will be prepared for you… just show up and encourage some precious kids!

Registration (6/night):
If you can’t stay very long but want to help out, this job is for you. You’ll help all the kids get signed in with a nametag and ready to go!

Quick facts for Parents:
- No pre-registration is needed
- We will feed your kids a light dinner, so they don’t need water or snacks
- We have bug spray, port-a-potties, and small cups of water!
- Make sure your kids wear old clothes because they’ll get wet… it’s your call whether you change their clothes in the car after pick-up
