Our Story

In 1996, Pastor Carter Crenshaw and a group at Christ Community church felt God could be glorified through a church in West Nashville. By 1998, this group was a recognized congregation in the Presbyterian Church of America(PCA). For 7 years, WECC met at Bass Middle School and moved to its current location on White Bridge Pike in 2005. Today, WECC continues as a dynamic church that seeks to meet the needs of people by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Core Values

Gospel, Love, Worship, Community, Family, Renewal, Service

At its core, West End Community Church is deeply committed to these seven values. We believe and proclaim the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ and desire to be known for our LOVE for each other and the people of our city. We WORSHIP the one true God together on Sundays and individually in everything we do. We believe that COMMUNITY with other believers is an important part of life and that God created the FAMILY as the basic unit of our society.  We believe in a RENEWAL by God’s Holy Spirit that changes lives and the physical acts of SERVICE are a critical part of our witness as believers. These values describe who we are, as well as what do as a church. You’ll find these woven into everything we do.
