Children’s Ministry

Fun and Safe; Jesus every Sunday.

Nurturing the youngest in our families—and the kids love it.

  • A father handling off his infant daughter to the nursery staff at West End Community Church

    Birth - 2

    9 & 10:30 Service

In West End’s nursery, we plant seeds of Jesus’ love by teaching your little one bible stories and how to pray, while also providing a fun craft or activity so your child’s earliest memories of church are happy ones.

  • Sandy, a volunteer teacher, answers a kindergardeners question during Sunday School

    3 - Kindergarten

    9 & 10:30 Service

Every Sunday, 3-year-olds to Kindergarteners sing and participate in activities to know better Jesus’s love. Gifted storytellers will also share bible lessons through Transformation Station, West End’s own children’s theatre.

  • First graders standing in line for a relay game to burn off a little energy before they sit down for their Bible lesson

    1st - 3rd Grade

    10:30 Service

1st-3rd graders learn how the whole Bible points to Jesus and their need for a relationship with him. Kids see what it means to participate in a church community and can make a profession of faith in a Communicants class.

  • Two fourth grade girls are discussing the Bible story they just learned.

    4th - 6th Grade

    10:30 Service

4th-6th graders are led weekly through Bible stories where the kids are invited to have deep discussions about faith in small groups. It allows students to know what they believe and how to apply their faith.

Parents,

It is our joy to nurture the youngest members of our families. In West End’s Children’s Ministry, we work hard to see our kids grow in Christ.

Every week we put together gospel-centered, fun teachings/activities for your kids, from 0yrs - 6th grade. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
