Day 7: 2025 Belfast

A concert with friends
We started today with a great reminder of God’s peace as McKayla led us in our devotional over John 14:27. We talked about God’s peace and how it can look different for all of us as we wait for him to call and send us out to do work for his Kingdom. It can be difficult to wait on his timing, but ultimately, his plan is the best plan!
During our final day at the inner-city conference, we broke up into small groups and discussed what it looks like to worship across different boundaries—cultural, language, or background differences. After lunch, we walked around the Belfast City Center with our friends from West Kirk and Grace & Hope and they showed us their favorite shops. It was a great to see parts of the city and spend time with our friends!
It was bittersweet tonight as we ended our Singer/Songwriter workshop with a final concert. The students opened the evening with “Take Me Home, Country Roads” followed by Daniel, Caleb, and Charlie performing some original pieces and a few cover songs. At the end of the night, our friends surprised us with sweet gifts—it was so kind! It touched all our hearts. We will miss them when we head home.
HOw we saw god at work today:
In all that this community has given us in their kindness, love, and memories made
The experience of the culture and being in the heart of Belfast
The way God worked through everyone performing in the concert
prayer requests:
For us to continue to walk alongside God in all that we do
Energy and restoration for our last full day here tomorrow
Encouragement for the youth to continue to grow the ministry and invite more friends into the youth group
