Day 1: 2025 Ireland

God of connection

Our first day in Ireland has been full and encouraging! The flight went smoothly, and we had no trouble getting to our hotel. Sunday morning, we joined Liberty Church in Bray for a wonderful time of worship and fellowship.

In the afternoon, we visited Tiglin’s newest facility at Loreto, a former convent built in 1822 that now houses Ukrainian refugees. Liberty Church’s lead pastor, Noel Kenny, led a mini-retreat and reminded us of two opposing worldviews, separation and connection, and how our God is a God of connection.

Tonight, we joined a citywide prayer gathering with multiple churches, pastors, and ministry leaders from across Dublin. Together, we prayed for the government, the homeless, refugees, the poor and oppressed, the school systems, and for Christ to saturate Ireland with his gospel.

HOW WE’VE SEEN GOD AT WORK:

  • In our team’s willingness to go where the Lord has called them

  • In the Lord’s provision getting us to Ireland safely

prayer requests:

  • Rest as our team settles into this week’s mission

  • God to be glorified in every conversation

  • Boldness and clarity as we share Christ
