Day 1: 2026 Ireland

God’s timing

Saturday was departure day, and we were excited and ready to go! At the airport gate, we took time to pray together, asking God to go before us as we begin our mission. We learned the Tiglin staff and residents are grieving deeply from the unexpected death of a staff member earlier in the week, so our mission might look a little different than we initially expected. We prayed for God to use us as he sees fit in the midst of this difficult time and to help us be willing and ready to serve however we are needed.

HOW WE’VE SEEN GOD AT WORK:

  • Reminding us that this timing is not a coincidence to him. He is sending us “for such a time as this,” and we will do our best to serve as he leads

  • Trusting God knows exactly what this week will hold and that he has a purpose for our team.

prayer requests:

  • For the team to be instruments of God’s peace and comfort to the Tiglin family as they grieve

  • Our team’s health and wellbeing this week and that we would remain flexible and open to however God wants to use us

  • Safe and smooth travels as we make our way to Ireland to begin the week ahead
