Day 3: 2025 Ireland

Sharing our stories
Our day began with Bernie delivering a powerful message about forgiveness, where she challenged us all to live for God and remember all he has done for us and how good he is. It was a needed message before a full day of ministry!
The men spent the entire day at the men’s center sharing messages about restoration, being made new in Christ, and hope for the future. Small group discussions opened the door for honest, fruitful conversations, and a 4.5 mile hike with the residents gave us even more time to connect deeply.
The women traveled to the Avondale Treetop Park where they walked and talked with the ladies on a pathway perched high above the tree canopy. The conversations, crisp air, and breathtaking views of the Irish countryside brought refreshment to all. The pathway ended at the 125-foot viewing tower and spiral slide. The slide was great fun for the ladies as they took turns descending all 125 feet down in just seconds via an enclosed metal chute.
The women enjoyed a delicious lunch in the park’s café, chatting more with the ladies as they ate. ChaCha closed their time with a vital message of encouragement. She taught about several women in the Bible who faced challenges and were met with God’s deliverance, and she shared about hardships in her own journey and how God has proven more than faithful to her. In all, it was a meaningful and inspirational day with the Tiglin residents!
HOW WE’VE SEEN GOD AT WORK:
In Bernie’s morning exhortation, calling us to truly live in light of God’s goodness
In the men’s center, through open hearts during teaching, small groups, and the hike conversations
In the beauty and fellowship at Avondale Treetop Park, where bonds deepened among the women
In the reminder that God is the one who restores and draws his people to himself
prayer requests:
Continued deepening of relationships with residents at both centers
Open hearts and lasting fruit from the messages shared
Energy and health for our team as the week continues
Protection over travel and activities, and for our families back home
Boldness and clarity as we speak the gospel, and for God to be glorified in every interaction
